Nestled high above the bustling town of Kandy, Serene Reach is a delightful oasis that immediately captured my heart-especially after a long journey from London. Arriving to the stunning mountain and river views from our terrace was a treat that set the tone for the rest of our stay. We were greeted warmly and shown to our spacious, air-conditioned accommodation that truly felt like a home away from home, complete with a private bathroom stocked with free toiletries. The common areas, including a lovely shared lounge, offered a great space for me and my travel companions to unwind after days spent exploring the rich cultural tapestry of Sri Lanka. Waking up each morning to the delightful sounds of nature, we indulged in the simple pleasures of the delicious breakfast served on the terrace, taking in the breathtaking views while sipping on freshly brewed coffee.
